One of the Best Performing Grevilleas You'll Ever Find

Grevillea 'Neil Bell' is a collector's gem — a hybrid that combines spectacular flower power, olive like foliage and with a garden-friendly habit. Named after Neil Bell shared this seedling from his Mounmoth garden with Xera, this cultivar is in sense an Oregonian native. Performs extremely well in the both heat of the Willamette valley and cool of the Puget sound.

Hardy to 10F, becoming hardier with more sun exposure and age.

What Makes It Special

  • Extraordinary flower clusters in rich orange-red, produced prolifically from autumn through spring, do not abort with heat
  • Compact, bushy habit — grows to around 1–1.5m high and wide, perfect for borders, hedges, or feature planting
  • Irresistible to wildlife — Humming bees and bees flock to the blooms
  • Drought tolerant once established, with excellent heat resistance
  • Low maintenance — a fair trim after flowering keeps it dense, tidy as well as improves stability

Care Guide

Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Avoid phosphorus-rich fertilisers. Water regularly for the first season, then reduce as the plant establishes. Prune lightly after the main flowering flush to encourage a second bloom.

Ships as a healthy, established plant in a nursery pot. Ready to go into the ground or a container after acclimation.
